Global emissions of carbon dioxide released from power continues to grow. This is despite the slight decrease in fossil fuel emissions caused by a reduction in economic activity because of the economic crisis experienced in the industrialized world. Canada is the world’s leading producer of energy fifth. It has a wealth of unique resources and non-renewable energy sources.
